Great beer!!!!!!!

The blueberry ale was the best blueberry beer I've ever tasted. Being in the shawdows of Fenway, you can't beat the atmosphere. We had a great time and will be back next time were in bean town.

Willimantic Brewing Co./ Main Street Cafe
967 Main St
Willimantic, CT 6226

Easily the best beer in Connecticut. Besides the usual gold and brown varieties, they make some very unusual styles, as a sour Belgium beer and oatmeal stout (my favorite). Always at least 2 very different IPA's. This is a real beer lovers paradise, located in an old post office. Tons of atmosphere, especialy if you sit in the bar room (Willimantic Brewing Co) as opposed to the dining room (Main Street Cafe). All in the same building. Try the NY strip steak or the parmesan crusted tuna. But beer is the king here!!

Carolina Brewery

Chapel Hill, NC 27514

Jon is a top brew master and his IPA is finally getting the recognition that it rightly deserves. Robert Poitras has an excellant pulse on the Chapel Hill crowd and knows how to pair the right food with the right brew. This is a must stop for all serious beer drinkers!
